A note to say thank you so much for all your help for our event on Friday night.
The event went really well, with everyone really enjoying themselves. I received numerous compliments during the night in relation to the meal, and how good the food was, the service and how attentive the staff were. Tables were asked on more than one occasion if everything was ok, the wine was poured when I requested it. Nothing was too much trouble, the meal ran on time and there was plenty of it. Any time I asked a member of your team for anything it was no trouble, and everything was done with a smile. The room itself looked fabulous and set the tone for a really good night.
I would like to say a personal thank you Sandra, there was a bit of pressure for me to make sure that the night was successful and that everyone enjoyed themselves, (it was our first year to move away from our regular hotel) and the night ran faultlessly and seamlessly so much thanks to you and your team for the night!
I am receiving emails all morning from people that attended saying what great night they had. Many thanks!

Thank you and your staff for the exceptional service and attention we received for the Salers cattle breeders tour last week. The dinner on the Friday night was fantastic, especially the BEEF ....!
In fact all meals were very good, including breakfast. Rooms were clean and large and we had no complaints just compliments!! The arrangements for the afternoon conference were excellent and at every stage staff could not do enough for us. Thank you once again.
I am writing to thank you for all your help in organising our AGM on Saturday 31st March.
The location was ideal for us as our shareholders come from places as far away as Monaghan in the north and Cahirciveen in the south. Being in the centre of Ireland and being in a position to accommodate hundreds of shareholders was the reason we chose the Heritage in Portlaoise. What we got was a location that provided the necessary parking facilities and access routes from the motorway that made travelling easy.
The conference room was ideal as it facilitated the two demonstrations and the provision of the necessary audio visuals so that everyone was in a position to fully participate in the event.
Personally, I want to thank you for all your help in the weeks leading up to the event and in particular your way in dealing with various requests that we had. I would like to also thank your Duty Manager Nicky, for her help on the day.
Finally, I would like to confirm that I would have no hesitation in recommending your hotel to companies who are looking to host an event for 200 or more people.

My sincere thanks to all the team at the Portlaoise Heritage Hotel for the wonderful courteous and very efficient organisation of our conference. It may have been a half day conference, but we had a big crowd and it was very important to us. We have received very positive feedback from the participants, particularly in relation to the venue and the service - lunch was a great success! I would like to thank the hotel and staff for their help with our seminar in February. I chose Portlaoise as the location as it is central for people from Cork and Dublin so it suited all of my customers. I chose the Heritage Hotel as they had the perfect room for the seminar as we could accommodate the 20 attendees and the equipment very comfortably. With regard to the staff, they could not have been any more helpful. Anything that was asked of them was carried out very professionally and efficiently. The very competitive day rate included room hire and projector equipment, all necessary stationary, car parking, 2 tea breaks and hot lunch in the restaurant.
I could not fault the hotel and would highly recommend this venue.

The Coeliac Society of Ireland held its 2010 Convention and 40th Anniversary Celebrations in the Portlaoise Heritage Hotel in April, with almost 200 delegates catered for and looked after excellently by the hotel's wonderful staff and management. Feedback in relation to the venue has been extremely positive and on the weekend, it was felt that nothing was too much trouble for the hotel to provide. Aside from the comfortable facilities, the delicious food and the central location, the hotel is welcoming and efficient in carrying out all of the requirements of a busy weekend event.
